Bringing home a baby is one of the most amazing experiences, but it's also one of the scariest for first-time parents. Baby monitors are easily one of the most reassuring tools for parents who want to keep a careful eye on their child all night long.

The problem is there are a lot of baby monitors today, but some of them just don't provide the results and reliability that others do. If you are going to invest in a monitor like this, you want to ensure it’s truly the best it can be so you can trust that your child is safe.

Our testing revealed that paying for the most expensive and known brands is actually a waste of money. To our surprise, the best winner was from a smaller company, a brand that isn't well known but offers all of the features that the others do. Even better, it’s easy to use, affordable, and crystal clear.

We Bought & Tested the Most Popular Baby Monitors. Here’s Why GoGo BabyMon Is #1

SUMMARY: This lightweight and easy-to-install baby monitor features the perfect sized 2.4” color LCD display with built-in night light, alarm and timer setting, temperature monitoring, sound activated LEDs, and 360-degree manual pan and 90-degree tilt. It offers everything needed for the highest quality of monitoring in a compact system that doesn’t require a lot of space.

There is currently a 40% off first order on their website.

Update: GoGo BabyMon is currently sold out in retail stores around the country. Wow! There may be some available on their website HERE.

As a parent and as an advocate for child safety at home, I know a few things about baby monitors. They've become an essential part of creating a nursery. Over the last few years, I've worked to help support parents-to-be in creating safe places, and nearly every one of them wants a baby monitor (and it's often the best thing on the baby registry to buy). I've used a lot of them.

When asked, I generally encourage parents to seek out a high-quality product, one that’s going to offer exceptional features and reliability, good range, and night vision. I almost always stated, “you get the quality you pay for,” encouraging them to spend a bit more to get the best.

When I was assigned this review, I thought I already knew which products were going to be standouts – those that cost $200 to $350 or more. I’ve seen some products go for twice that amount.

I thought I was going to prove that affordable products were inferior products. I have to say that I'm pretty glad I was wrong!

The GoGo BabyMon is an excellent baby monitor with virtually every feature you want or could need, and it’s a fraction of the cost.

First Impression

Opening up the box – which arrived pretty quickly – I noted everything was in order, properly protected, and easy to access. I was surprised at the quality of the materials. They were not cheap plastics.

I opened the packaging, pulled out the pieces, and noticed how lightweight the pieces were.

Nice benefit! They are not overly large (large displays can be great, but they also take up room and don’t always offer any added benefit). I really thought GoGo BabyMon was a higher priced product.

Design & Features

I noticed a few things about GoGo BabyMon that seemed to stand out. First, the display is 2.4 inches, which is ample. There’s a camera unit, 2x power adapters, and a pre-installed battery.

There’s also a nice mounting set that lets it be positioned properly where it will not fall. It also comes with a user manual that’s packed with how-tos.

The entire system is plug-and-play, which is excellent for those who don’t want to have to mess with a lot of wiring or setup processes.

Controls

I loved testing this out because it is so easy to use. GoGo BabyMon provides 360-degree manual panning and 90-degree tilt. You can easily control the position even if you have a child that moves everywhere! A few other key features that really help it stand out are the alarm and timer setting option and the temperature monitoring. These are nice features for parents who worry about everything – and really that's all of us. I also like that if you step out of the 900 feet of open space range, an out-of-range warning comes on. That again provides valuable peace of mind.

The sound-activated LEDs and multi-camera expandability also make this a fantastic buy. You can use it in any way that works for you – control the features you want to use or even add more cameras to get better results. With the V24R, you can add up to 4 additional cameras to it.

Testing

I set out with a lot of hope after checking out all of the features of GoGo BabyMon. I was seriously surprised by how well it worked. Here’s what I found.

After setting it up, which took about 10 minutes, I was ready to use it. The remote features – like monitoring the baby's position by adjusting the angle and checking the temperature in the room are all super easy to use. I also like that it features 2.4GHz FHSS closed loop technology.

This is something that helps this baby monitor stand out from others. It is super stable and provides a hack-proof connection, something that is so important today with privacy concerns for parents. Also, you don't have to use Wi-Fi for connectivity. Even if you don't, the image remains clear.

I kept it on and used it throughout the night. The connection never failed. The battery lasts up to 10 hours, but you can also keep it plugged in, so you don't have to think about the battery. I tested out the alarms, and they work well! I really found the built-in night light to be ideal because it provides just enough light to see what’s happening without startling a baby awake.

What Makes GoGo BabyMon Different From Other Products?

Verdict

When I started this process, I had one goal – recommend the very best baby monitor for parents who need reliability, clear images, and features. I anticipated recommending other products, those with a higher price point, I thought. I didn’t anticipate finding a product that offered everything needed without the added cost!

GoGo BabyMon is an excellent choice for those looking for a baby monitor that's easy to set up and use and offers a strong connection, clear images day and night, and exceptional value. It's the type of product parents will recommend to their friends, hands down, every time.

GoGo BabyMon is for those who want ample peace of mind from any room of the house!

A Recent Problem Has Happened

I want to jump in here and give an update on a recent problem that I've been alerted about regarding GoGo BabyMon. It seems it's pretty popular (which really isn’t hard to understand).

It has become difficult to find as a result.

If the manufacturer was having trouble before when GoGo BabyMon was at its full price of $69.95, I cannot imagine it getting better with the current 40% discount in place!

This may be making it harder for some people to find GoGo BabyMon. I still highly recommend it.

In fact, I recently told my neighbor about it as she was looking for a gift for her niece’s baby shower. She set out to purchase it but couldn't find it. She made the mistake of buying a product that "looked the same," but it was a hassle, and the end result wasn't impressive at all.

The bottom line – it’s going to be a bit more challenging to find stock, but it’s just best to buy directly from the GoGo BabyMon website. That’s where the 40% off deal is available, too!

How To Order A GoGo BabyMon Baby Monitor

  1. Visit the website. I'm linking it HERE
  2. Get the 40% discount if it is still available (I’m not sure how long it will last!)
  3. Select the number of baby monitors you want
  4. Submit your payment and shipping information
  5. Wait for it to arrive, unbox, and start breathing easy!

Also, if you were not sure about this product and wanted some added reassurance, GoGo BabyMon comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. You can really count on it and, if not, you have time to return it if it fails you.

Common Questions & Answers

Q: Do you need a Wi-Fi connection to use GoGo BabyMon?

No, you don’t! It features a 2.4GHz FHSS closed loop setup for added protection and less risk.

Q: Is the screen bright and clear?

Yes, I found it to be the best screen with outstanding color and clarity.

Q: Are there a lot of setup steps?

Nope. I was able to get it set up in 10 minutes, including using it.

How Much Does It Cost?

The regular price for GoGo BabyMon is $69.95. However, the manufacturer has a 40% discount right now that I highly suggest taking advantage of.

I’ve seen other products with these same features priced around $250 to $350.

How Can It Be So Affordable?

The company isn’t in retail stores. It’s not paying for marketing and excessive advertising for this product.

Why Is It Discounted Right Now?

I don’t know how long the discount will last, but I do know it’s lowered in price because the company is young and unknown. It’s trying to make a name for itself. The company also set out to design a more affordable product.
