We Bought & Tested Countless Power Banks, Here’s Why SolVolt Is #1

Not all power banks are created equal. There are thousands of brands on the market that vary in price, quality, battery life and other features.

It quickly becomes overwhelming trying to make a choice on which one to buy.

Over the years I have tried most of the power banks on the market. Everything from cheap chinese knock-offs to the more expensive big brand options.

Most of the popular power banks (even the big brands) only have the storage capacity to fully charge your phone 1-3 times. You’ll quickly find yourself charging your powerbank more often than your phone.

They also don’t stand the test of time. After using it a few times, the amount of charge the bank can hold dwindles. Not to mention most power banks don’t have a solar panel, which renders it useless for bringing on camping trips.

The latest portable power bank to hit the market is called SolVolt and they have won the hearts of consumers all over the world with thousands of five star reviews.

It is a light weight, compact design power bank that works for almost any device.

The best part is that it can charge a brand new iPhone from 0%-100% battery over 10 times in one charge.

On top of that, it also has an extremely powerful solar panel so you can charge the SolVolt on a camping trip - just strap it on your backpack as you walk and it charges up while you enjoy nature.

I was intrigued, and ordered one from their official website. I was super excited to see the package arrive safely just 2 days after I placed my order. It was time to put SolVolt to the test!

Our Test Results

When I opened the box I immediately saw a difference compared to other power banks. SolVolt was surprisingly lightweight and had a nice sense of quality to it. Other power banks are very heavy, making it tiresome to bring with me wherever I go.

Then let’s look at the solar panel. How come no one thought of this before? A power bank that you can charge both with the cable, but also with solar if you bring it for a long camping trip.

Even though the powerbank looks cool and had a clean high tech design as well as a brilliant solar panel, I still had to verify quality and usability among many other things.

It comes fully charged out of the box, alongside 2 cables. One USB for Android and one lightning cable for iOS devices.

It couldn’t have been easier to connect SolVolt with my smartphone as you literally just have to place your phone on the solar panel and it starts charging immediately!

Charging Speed

SolVolt uses the latest QuickCharge 3.0 technology developed by Qualcomm. It managed to charge my Samsung Galaxy S10 from 23% battery to 98% in just 18 minutes. Crazy how the solar panel can actually charge the phone faster than my regular charger.

So how many charges can SolVolt hold?

Regular power banks usually can store enough power to fully charge a smartphone from zero to full about 2 times over. Maybe 3 if you get a really expensive model.

SolVolt on the other hand, is the market leader here utilizing the latest technology used by Tesla for their car batteries.

In our testing, we managed to charge our iPhone 11 from 0%-100% battery 8 times over! Not exactly 10 charges as they advertise, but to be fair we did actively use the iPhone as it was charging.

In short, there’s no other power bank in our testing that comes even close to SolVolt in power capacity.

With other power banks you need to charge them almost as often as you charge your devices. SolVolt you charge maybe once a week and you’ve got almost unlimited power in your pocket wherever you go!

Durability & Quality

We know it works. But what about if you drop your new power bank on the floor? Will it shatter like the iPhones are famous for?

Definitely not. SolVolt is both waterproof, dust resistant and shockproof! We tested submerging it in water, dropping it from our roof onto the pavement - and it still works!

If you live an active lifestyle and like nature, SolVolt is a must have. Not only is it incredibly durable, but it also has a built in emergency flashlight.

Since you can also recharge with solar, you could be watching Netflix in your tent the whole trip and not worry about running out of batteries!

The SolVolt uses advanced Solar Photovoltaic Modules, which is the same technology used to power spacecraft and satellites orbiting Earth. This solar technology harnesses the power of the sun for a nearly infinite charge in your devices, wherever you are.

Will it work with my devices?

SolVolt can charge 3 devices at the same time. It’s compatible with any device that you can charge via USB, USB-C and lightning cable if you use Apple products.

If you want to charge more than 3 devices simultaneously you can always just get an extra splitter-cable and connect 2 devices in 1 USB outlet.

The Downside

The problem with SolVolt is that they have become so increasingly popular that the manufacturer says they can barely keep up with demand.

And on top of that, there is an ongoing campaign right now where they have a 40% discount! So it's just a matter of time before they run out.

Furthermore, there are a lot of scams and copycat versions out there trying to leech of SolVolt's success. So make sure you get yours from their official website and get them now before they run out of stock.

Purchase and delivery

Purchasing and receiving your SolVolt couldn't be easier.

To keep prices low, they only sell online from their official website. And they even offer a 30 day money back guarantee so there is absolutely no risk. You can simply send your purchase back for a full refund if you for some reason don’t like it anymore.

Their delivery process is quick and simple as I got mine within 3 days of purchase. I didn’t have to contact their customer support once which I feel is standard these days, so that’s a big plus.

Where Can I Buy SolVolt?

To take advantage of the current 40% discount and order simply follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Select the amount of devices you want to purchase
  3. Fill your shipping information and payment method
  4. Enjoy never running low on battery ever again!

As of April 17, 2024 you can still get SolVolt for 40% OFF!
